Clément Geoffroy started playing the harpsichord in Jocelyne Cuiller’s class in Nantes when he was eight years old. He then went off to study with Bertrand Cuiller before joining the CNSMDP (Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris). He obtained his Masters in 2013 with honours. In 2011, he won first prize at the Paola Bernardi Harpsichord Competition in Bologna. Clément is very much in demand as a continuo player and has worked with La Rêveuse, Stradivaria, Pygmalion, Opera Fuoco, La Chapelle Rhénane, Fuoco e Cenere etc. He is a founder member of L’Escadron Volant de la Reine, the ensemble in residence at the Singer-Polignac foundation and won first prize at the Val de Loire international competition (2015).
